The Mays {Utah Family Photographer}

I love this family! This is my sister Leslie and her adorable, sweet family.  They came to visit us in July and I was so excited to take their family pictures.  I love that my family allows me to practice my photography skills on them:)
Her kids are so sweet and have always been amazing cousins to Tate.  Tate adores them and looks up to her boys so much.  I'm glad that Tate has such good examples.  They are not only sweet but insanely FUN.  We love spending time with them.....now only if we lived closer.

G Family {Utah Family Photographer}

This family was FUN to photograph!  They were up for anything and had the best motorcycle prop :)  We were trying to beat the rain during this photo shoot and we did it.  It makes it so easy with such a fun easy going family.

Love this one!  The kids' faces are priceless!

My Boy

Oh my goodness......Tate is in FIRST GRADE!  I can't believe it.  It has been quite an adjustment.....not for him, but ME!  It is a struggle to send him out the door each day and have no control over how kids might treat him or if he will find his way and make good choices.  It is hard to not have him home all day, to not feed him lunch or just play legos, but I'm coping.  I have come to realize that all I can do is teach him, and pray for him and have faith that he will make good choices and be strong in this world. I know that I will have to dry tears and calm worries from time to time but that is part of growing and becoming stronger. I need to make sure that he has a place to come home to that is a sanctuary from the outside world.
Tate has been doing well and is actually enjoying school.  That makes a mom happy.  His teacher is wonderful and he has made some cute little friends.  He is such a good kid!!  I have quite the free time now and have decided to fill it with furthering my photography skills.  It is something that I love and am constantly trying to improve upon.  Here are some pics that we took just before school started.  I love this boy.  He melts my heart!

Tate LOVES this hat.  He wears it everywhere and I absolutely think he is adorable in it!  I knew I needed to have some pics to remember him at 6 years old, missing two front teeth, and this hat!

Finally......After internet issues.....I'm back!  We had such problems getting our internet hooked up since we moved to our new place.  It feels good to get these pics out there:)  Please forgive me because I have much to catch up on so there will be many posts in the days to come!
This is my sweet friend Lynette, her daughter Hailey and new born Caleb.  Aren't they adorable?  I just love this family.  Hailey is such a character and so much fun!  It took us a while but we got some great pics!  More to come!
